Question:
TAT B GONE AND TATTOO REMOVAL Machine?
Can somebody tell me whether this product works or not? There seems to
be two sites for it and one of the sites has a better business bureau
logo on it. I can't seem to find too much information on the product
whether positive or not.
I know there's a faq from this newsgroup that mentions this
product but its mentioned without having tested the product.
I'm surprised because if the product was nothing but a scam, I
thought there would be alot of negative posts on it. I search Googles
and no negative posts about the product came up. I found one post
saying that the product worked. The rest were just people asking about
the product.
So, if any tattoo artists in here have first hand or second hand
experience wioth the product, please tell us whether it works or not.
Answer:
-If I remember correctly, it's this stuff I saw at the Pomona Tattoo Expo
a couple of weeks ago. It's this liquid stuff that is applied to the
tattooed areas to be removed, and then a tattoo machine is used to
"abrade" it in. Supposedly, it causes the skin to start to regenerate
and expel the ink. They claim that it works for weeks, even months
after the initial application, but it can be reapplied if more ink needs
to be removed. And, supposedly, new ink can be applied over the Tat B
Gone only weeks after it's application, and the new ink won't be
rejected.
-I doubt this is the same product. The site doesn't say any
abrasive machine is needed. All you have to do is put three different
kinds of lotions on the tattoo and within a couple of months the
tattoo will disappear or fade drastically.
Where are the ginea pigs who have used this product? If it
didn't work for you guys here's your chance to get back at the
company.
On the other hand, it probably did work and those who used it
felt they didn't need to discuss any more about it because their
problem is gone.
