Question:
Has anyone purchased a tattoo removal laser machine.
There's a company in Canada selling them cheap, but it seems to have a bad
reputation and bad report from the Ca govt.
The only other machine I've seen is very expensive, I've been looking at q
switch lasers.
Answer:
-This Canadian company seems to operate under several names, one being Centre
biotechnique Avance

Quite a few websites with warnings about this company(s) such as
http://www.hairtell.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/23361/Ma... ,
and a report from the Canadian Better Business Bureau that a complaint
against them was not responded to.
I have no idea whether they're good or not, they did not respond to my
emails.
Why should a legit company appear to have different names.
I'm interested in purchasing a machine to remove tattoos, this machine is
about $4000, around 10% of other machines I've seen.
-Both of those facts - no email reply and multiple names for a single
company - may just be warning enough to steer clear. At the very least,
it would serve as an indicator that additional research is necessary
before opening your checkbook to them.
In fact, I would recommend that you deal with a reputable dermatologist
in your local area or travel to such a doctor or facility rather than
conducting this business via the Internet. That sounds like a
considerable amount of money ($4000) and I wouldn't want to see anyone
find themselves victim of fraud.
Have you contacted area dermatologists, your local Better Business
Bureau (or similar organization), or hospital/university that may have
advice/information re laser tattoo removal machines?
