Question:
I have prob Tattoo Removal Franchise?
Have you looked for them in Germans to America?
As for it being a good idea, I guess I'll have to franchise that one,
too, huh?
I might hire you myself. As for the tattoo removal business,
inspiration hasn't struck yet for a name, but I think it'll
involve Laka since, according to my sources, she represents
rejuvenation and healing.
You weren't here when I posted
the message about when I got drunk on my 18th birthday in Salzburg
Answer:
- Vocabulary is very hard to remember if not used all the time.
Sort of like remembering proper syntax for DOS commands.
I remember one time I was sitting on a park bench in some little
town. An old man came along, sat down, and asked me something in
German. I was only able to reply "Ich spreche kein Deutsch", but
he answered very excitedly "Sind Sie Amerikaner?", or something
like that, and launched into a rapid monologue in German. He
paused occasionally to ask "Verstehen Sie?", but I'm afraid I
didn't verstehe very much.
- If you have any questions regarding genealogy, feel free to ask. I'm
fairly adept at the research at this point, and have even given
seminars at the local genealogy society regarding using the computer to
do genealogy research. It can be very challenging and very
time-consuming, but when you find something like the original passenger
list of some of your ancestors when they came to the US, there's no
feeling quite like it. If nothing else, it brings history alive by
connecting you directly to it.
Now, regarding the tattoo removal business franchise, I had an
inspiration today. How does "'Too Undo" sound? Okay, so it wasn't so
inspirational after all. Keep working on the Laka angle, because if
you leave it up to me, the name will be ridiculous.
After reading your reply, I realized that at the time you met Judie, it
was probably a pretty rare event for you two to have met on the
internet. It's only in the past few years that it's become more
common. Are you aware that Andy in England and Lynnette in Illinois
met in this newsgroup and are "an item" now? Also, one of the female
SysOps met her current husband via the internet.
Finally had a chance to look at the URL of the area you mentioned, and
it's lovely. Is that the area you live in? I was expecting a more
desert sort of place, but then, I've only been to Sacramento once and
barely remember that.
I did spend quite a bit of time in Napa and San Rafael, as well as San
Francisco itself. My pposed-to-have-been-my-life-mate-but-he-
forgot-that-somewhere-along-the-line-ex was from there, and had lots of
family in that area. If it's better than that
