Question:
I guess I can finally delurk now - got a PA yesterday
at Forbidden Fruit in Austin. Not bad at all, a little
more pain than I had anticipated (I really had no idea
what to expect) but the piercer, Geneva, put me completely
at ease so it was no big deal. Have to say I think it's
way cool. No bleeding w/ this morning's cleaning, unlike
last night's, so with a little luck there will be no
problems. Now to find a girlfriend that won't wig at the
concept, let alone the fact, of a PA.
I'd been considering this for many a month, and kept changing
excuses to move the date closer to the present. So Friday
I changed excuses once more and decided to just do it (no
Nike reference intended). I'll still save the tattoo I've
been planning for when I finish my dissertation. Something to
denote the influences in my current thought patterns - a
few Eastern religious concepts, IU and UT, partial Norwegian
heritage, and of course, Dr. Seuss.
Well, back to work; I've got to finish this damn dissertation
so I can leave this state. No offense to native Texans, but
as a born and bred Yankee, this heat is killing me.
Tattoo Removal Austin, need advice?
Answer:
- Congratulations, Grant, on: 1) the new PA...me thinks you gonna love
it 2) on your choice of piercers, Geneva, and the rest of the crew at
FF are wonderful 3) on your opinion of Texas...I also left as soon as
I could.
- Congrats, Grant! Glad everything went well for you at the Fruit. That's
the only place in town I'll go for piercing. I hear (and occasionally
see) that Geneva is great piercer--she's certainly a great person. Good
luck healing it! I think PAs look beautiful, just saying.
Where are you thinking of going to get your tattoo? How big are you
thinking it'll be?
As for Texas, I've lived in Texas for almost 7 yrs (Austin for a couple)
and the heat's killing me too. I am a Yankee at heart. Have fun with
your dissertation..
