Question:
Tattoos And Laser Surgery info?
have a tatoo that is about 2 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height. It
has blue, green, yellow, black, and red colors in it. I would like to have it
removed through laser surgery sometime this year. Has anyone ever had this
procedure done and about how much does it cost? Does it leave a scar?
Answer:
- a friend of mine is going through this procedure on his hands and neck,
both which were carelesssly tattooed a few years ago.
it hurts a lot, there is no way around that one. it also takes a very
long time and due to the expense of the procedure (in canada at least)
the intervals he can afford are very spread out. this leaves him with a
really bad looking tattoos for long periods of time because as they fade
and the line work disappears they look more and more homemade. given the
location of the tattoos though, he felt he had no options.
if you can stand getting the piece covered by a reputable professional,
try that route first.
- I agree with Joanne, don't remove them! It is far better to obtain outstanding
recover work over the poorly done work. It the tattoo is well done it will be
admired b all who see it, regardless where on the body it may be located. Both
my hands and neck were recovered by good artist and I am very proud of what he
has done to improve. I would never ever consider a laser removal.
-I noticed last week that one of the tattoo magazines - sorry, don't
remember which one - actually had a feature about tattoo removal. You might
