Question:
Dermatology tattoo rash misery?
As a tattoo artist i would say if it were still healing that you were
allergic to petroleum....This can not be the case....What I can think of is
that you do not sweat anymore where you have heavy color; the japanese men
who are tattood fron top to bottom pant like dogs in the summer because of
the inability to sweat...???I dont know if this helps...
Answer:
- I got a prescription for accutane, but I haven't started it because I got a
tattoo on 2-7-98. How long do you think I should wait before starting? I was
thinking I would start in a few days, but now I'm not so sure.
- this makes me wonder... my upper back has a tendency to break out badily
about once a month, and it does leave scars, (not raised, just lighter or
darker patches) would this cause a problem to any tats I might decide to get in
that area?
- I heard that awhile back and mentioned it to my favorite tattooist, Ed.
His whole body is covered, says it isn't true. He sweats like a pig. I
also heard that Japanese women don't like sleeping with full-suited
husbands because their skin is cold as a fish. Not with Ed, says his
skin is normally hot. (My experience too with my heavily colored
sleeves -- just as warm as the rest of me.) And the third part of the
theory, that life is shortened because of the inability to sweat, Ed
says "A short candle burns brighter." Of course, all of our mileages
may vary.
