Question:
Tattoo Removal Dermasal questions?
I was wondering what everyone else thought about dermasal? I have done
some research and found that Dermasal's parent company, Selmedica
Healthcare, has a VERY bad reputation with the Better Business Bureau.
You can look at the complaints yourself:
Dermasal is also a salt abrasion rub. Does this work??? Is that not
the same thing as a skin peel? I know that doctors use the same thing
to treat acne, but how many layers of skin to you have to go down to
remove a tattoo? I think this dermasal will just cause a lot more
irritation, I have even read that this treatment can cause scarring.
What do you think?
Answer:
- It's my understanding that just about every removal method involves
some scarring, except for laser. Salabrasion is just one of many
removal methods that involve basically rubbing off the skin to
remove the tattoo.
- what he said except the laser will/may cause scarring, just the same as the
original tattoo. I have seen some excellent results from laser work. If you
plan on being re-tattooed the procedure is much less expensive as there are
far fewer visits.
